FREE 90-Minute Seminar

The James Austin Company and Up A Notch Marketing LLC presents
Jim Connelly’s
"Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway”
From the streets of Turtle Creek, PA to Beverly Hills, from “street tough” to “suave manager” of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and Wall Street Executive – meet JIM CONNELLY!

“I grew up in the projects of Turtle Creek and learned on the mean streets that with every adversity carries with it the seed of an equivalent benefit.”

Jim Connelly’s amazing journey from Turtle Creek to the boardroom of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in just 6 short years is nothing short of astonishing. With no college degree, no money and no connections, Connelly did what everyone who knew him thought would be impossible.

“Anyone in today’s economy with the right work ethic, the right attitude, and the right mentor can still create a successful life for themselves.
As Jim explored other business opportunities, he was invited by the chairman of Shearson Lehman to join the Wall Street Investment Banking firm. He became the first non-college graduate accepted into the firm's management program and graduated from the New York Institute of Finance in the top ten percent of his class.
At the request of the President, Connelly facilitated Leadership Goal Setting for the California Governor's Conference and the President's Committee for Employment of People with Disabilities held at Stanford University.
Jim has established many successful businesses and is a consummate entrepreneur - having lived his entire life "outside the box".
Even with all his success, the accomplishment he is most proud of is the 25 year journey to assist a young woman, who after a serious accident came back from the brink of death to live independently today. (see the remarkable story at www.onemoresunset.com).
"The Donna Jones story is very heart warming and I was amazed at Jim's dedication to her recovery." --Don Green, Executive Director, Napoleon Hill Foundation
"Hope our paths cross in the not too distant future." -- Peter Ueberroth, Chairman of the 1984 US Olympics and Time "Man of the Year"
In his first public appearance in Pittsburgh, Connelly is going to share stories of:

 The big lesson he learned from Frank Sinatra and why Frank asked Connelly to throw his 50th birthday party.

 How he learned to ask 2 simple questions that almost guaranteed success and how it still works as magically today as it did 35 years ago ---- and they’re never taught in college.

 Why Elvis Presley’s weekend request of Connelly should be a case study in how to be flexible in the business world.

 The 3 books that changed his life.

"I value our 30 year friendship." -- Kirk Kerkorian, Chairman, MGM
"When my bank asks about my assets, I start with Jim and Kate Connelly." -- Lou Holtz, legendary Football Coach and Analyst for ESPN
Today Connelly is:
• Trustee of the Lou Holtz Hall of Fame
• Chairman of the Board and co-founder with his son Jeff of Integrated Communications Services, an international communications and information systems services provider.
• The Director of the Napoleon Hill Speaker's Bureau.
• Serves as an advisor to some of America's most successful leaders and entrepreneurs sharing his extensive business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit to help their companies grow and thrive during his Inner Circle weekends.
• Sought out by top executives and entrepreneurs to become their personal master mentor through one-on-one private coaching.

Now you can attend a special Seminar hearing Jim talk about his best strategies and life lessons – FREE! The Seminar no cost, no strings attached. You just exchange 90 minutes of your time for a quick look at how to overcome fear---no matter what your background or education is, no matter what position you are in, no matter what your circumstances are. Come just thinking that “maybe” there’ll be one good idea or two that you can use.

Register immediately and attend this Free Seminar. You’ll be glad you did.
"Jim is a trusted friend who knows how to throw a party. Truly a stand-up guy." -- Frank Sinatra

Thank you for staying in touch! I am actually working on a new 'campaign', of sorts. There are elements to the site that I wish to add before I really get this out there, and I also wish to arrange some calls. However, I would love to hear your initial thoughts/comments to what I have put together so far. I am simply so close to this, that I miss a lot from a 'newcomers' perspective.

Did you get a chance to see the videos that I posted of Barbara Marx Hubbard? You can view the series at www.IHaveImpact.com. You will need the password 'evolution' to access all of the videos.

Have a Wonder-Full week!

Hello Hayley!
Yes, I am still very involved with the growth and evolution of HUB. It is very much my passion. I also contacted Debby again yesterday, as HUB is also growing very quickly in Australia! I would LOVE for a bunch of us here on "Gutzy Women" to be able to Co-create together to develop a Women's Scholarship program. I am placed directly under Rev. Michael Beckwith and also have Barbara Marx Hubbard on my Team (along with Evolutionary Women and Gather the Women) and would also really like to support some local women's shelters....Lots of ideas that a number of us women are working on.....Hope you are well!

Hi Hayley,
I will give you a call soon. A couple of questions: Where in your waking life are you being presented with an opportunity to take something else on? Take out the zeros's - 13 & 15 are these years? If Andrew is not Andrew in person, who else would he be? He is cold (distance, numb, not interested). It's a flat compared to a house? The word 'flat' is interesting because you also have 'cold' in your dream, you however are excited. Just a thought - 'is the project from two prospectives - is the glass half empty or half full?'

Hey Hayley,
sounds like you have have caught that wind people are talking about!! Look forward to seeing what dream you get to chose to work on, I'm ready when you are. I have downloaded the trial of adobe FX Flash and working through it slowly - its a mindfield and understand why so many chose the simple methods online! Its a slow pace here, however looking forward to a change of pace soon, once I get a few practicalities out of the way! Take care x

The wedding was truly amazing considering how quickly we put it together!
Friends and family all pulled together to create an incredible experience
for Jon and Tiana...way better than I expected, but when something is in
line with the vibration of the universe, it's amazing what can happen!

The wedding ceremony took place in Old Colorado City at a place called the
Secret Garden. Tiana was hoping we could have it outside, but the weather
did not cooperate, so they had a cute little white chapel and we decorated
it with all of my christmas decor...tons of Poinsettas, green pine
wrapping...it really looked pretty. The man at the secret garden usually
charges to use the little cottage house next door, but was so sweet to let
us girls get dressed there. My son and his friend played their acoustical
guitars as she walked down the isle. There was about 40 people there.

Ahriana, a client of mine an amazing woman, agreed to
be the minister (which was a miracle in itself as she had just married her
son only 4 days earlier and had family still in town). She prepared a
beautiful message and Jon and Tiana wrote their own vows, which included
Jon's little boy in the ceremony (he is about 2 years old). It was touching
and humorous at times...very light, joy filled and intimate! Ahriana was
loved by all as I knew she would be!

We found a $600.00 dress for Tiana at half price and it fit her perfectly!
She looked AMAZING! My niece was just married last July, so had many
decorations (red was her color!) that we used both at the chapel and at the
reception, so that really helped! Plus my niece let Tiana borrow her veil and tiara. We found her some shoes on sale for $15.00 and I found a $100.00 dress for $25.00.

MJ & Barbara (the gals that did my Next Internet Millionaire videos) showed up with their video camera and caught the whole ceremony! Can't wait to see it!

My friends, Lupe and Steve, own the Sports Garden (a sports complex and
event center) in Pueblo and rented it out to us as well as catered the food
for the reception. We decorated with candles and red and white tablecloths,
christmas lighting, etc. It was so cool. We had a DJ and so fun and dancing
was had by all!

I am very relieved that it's over and now I am concentrating on packing
things up and getting rid of things now to get ready to go to Australia. We
are still waiting for word from the insurance company and getting very
anxious! Will let you know when we finally get things going.
