I am Happy Because I Choose to Be
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg
It is so easy today to blame things outside ourselves for the misery we perceive in our lives. It is easier to place blame elsewhere than to take responsibility for it, and we as humans seem to be a little like water, in that we seek the path of least resistance; blame the other guy. The rub here lies in

I am a firm believer that we attract unto ourselves that which we think about and focus our attention on. If one desires a better life, they must take responsibility for their wants and focus on bringing them into their lives. Too many people focus on what they don't have, rather than to be grateful for what they do have, and working toward what they want.
Think about it... I know it is true. When I divorced my first husband, I was focused on the Hell I'd been through for the previous 10 years.…

'A Woman'
This is written in the Hebrew Talmud, the book where all of the sayings and preaching of Rabbis are conserved over time.
It says: 'Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib.
Not from his feet to be walked on.
Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal.
Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved.'

Are You an Ezine Publisher?
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg
I have been publishing The Trii-Zine Ezine since the fall of 2001. Originally, it was distributed via email, as was the standard before blogging came into being. In 2003, I stopped sending out my ezine using email and switched to RSS.

Manifesting Destiny
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg
Yesterday I experienced the power of the Law of Attraction. Earlier in the week, I was in a terrible car accident, which both my mother and I walked away from, but the car was totaled.
My first reaction was to be grateful for my li

I am grateful to be alive!
Yesterday I was involved in a car accident.
My mother and I were returning from our monthly grocery shopping in Grand Junction (110 miles from home), when I hit a patch of ice that sent us head first into a house sized boulder. If the rock hadn't stopped us, I would have been able to navigate back to the road.

Help???
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg
Good morning Dear Reader!
I have finished the first re-write of my novel! I am so excited about this project! It seems as if this has just written itself. It required 30 years of research; and I did spend years making excuses for not writing it, but once I started, I couldn't stop. I'm still working on the polish.

A Simple Time
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg
Here we sit, just like we were kids, only with bigger bodies, watchin' 'Daniel Boone' on TV. It's moments like this that make life such a gift. I accept this gift, cherish it and find tremendous joy in sharing it.
Daniel Boone always seemed to do the right thing for the right reasons. He was not prone to i

Good Vibrations
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg
Being the luckiest woman alive is no small matter. There are plenty of women out there who have more tangible possessions than I, more education, or higher position; but are they grateful for it? Or, do they take it for granted? Have the trappings of their lives trapped them into complacency?

I am a Calendar Girl!
For 2009, I created a beautiful calendar of awesome photographs of the beauty of Colorado. Being that my husband likes to take lots of photos of me, I inserted myself as Miss August in the 2009 calendar.
Nothing racey, mind you... Just a photo of me sitting on a log at the falls.

My Christmas Story...
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg
Oh, about sixteen years ago, I was spending Christmas as a newly divorced, single mother. I was 26 years old and my son was three. I worked two jobs, just to afford to live in a housing project, in a very scary neighborhood. I had no Christmas tree, I had no money, I had no gifts for my little boy. Not one! Talk abou
