The Art Studio - A day with Heartwork Heather

My friend who is an artist invited my children and I to spend the day with her in her art studio doing a family silk painting workshop. We swam in the pool, painted in the workshop, then had pizza and played on her WII. We didn't get home until midnight and it was a fabulous day. The best part of the day was seeing my 8 year old having her heart healed through the silk painting as she got very upset that her work was not good enough but Heather was able to reach into her heart and help her to realise that all artwork is an expression of ourselves and so beautiful. It was a very touching moment and I managed to capture it all in still images which I have pieced togethered into this video. It just showed me how God can use art as a form of therapy and medium for healing. The words and music were composed by myself using Garage Band.
